It has a large range of shops, pubs and a funfair. Barmouth is a place where people can go on holiday to relax.

There are banks, clothes and food shops and others. There is only one charity shop but over 12 gift shops. The reason for this is .because tourist’s would want to buy souvenirs and go to restaurants so they can withdraw money at the bank Also shopkeepers at independent shops need somewhere safe to keep their money so it is the ideal place. There are seven different clothes shops for people to visit. The sweet shops in Barmouth are perfect for children and at cheaper prices too. There is a post office so people can send off letters and post cards, also they can purchase stamps there. There are no supermarkets but 10 food shops where sandwiches and crisps can be  purchased there are also three restaurants and five pubs.  There is a pet shop where residents can by pet accessories for their dogs, because  Barmouth residents usually have dogs as it can get a lot of exercise.
